No, I’m not doing this for a boy to like me. No, I’m not doing this for a pair of size zero shorts. No, I’m not doing this to make girls jealous of me. I’m not doing this for a boy to be able to pick me up. I’m not doing this for a thigh gap. I’m not doing this for ribs, collarbones, skinny…
THIS has definitely been me. So much. BUT - I am getting on with this and really for real this time! It has been almost 3 weeks since the start of this diet and I am down 11.1 lbs…the most I have ever lost while actually TRYING! WOOHOO!
SO, after reading/following some awesome weight-loss/fitness blogs I decided it would probably be a good idea to start one even though a) i am HORRIBLE at blogging. (who wants to read what I have to say??!) and b) I really have no idea what I am doing other than following ideas on working out and keeping a strict diet (basically calorie counting, oooo so exciting!) BUT I also have an awesome boyfriend who is also on the wight-loss train, though it is soooo easy for guys to lose! not. fair. he is down 22lbs in 19 days with basically the same diet, but he probably works out harder than me…and he’s in a competition with a guy we work with which is also a big motivator for him. I am not that competitive.
ANYWAY, that’s my story for now, I’ll add some more info later…but here’s something truthful and witty from the awesome Liz @ one twenty five. :)
